Charlotte

Therapy Assistant

Charlotte graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) in 2021. Throughout the degree she had a strong focus on working with neurodivergent youth of all ages, and also has experience in teacher assistant work. She enjoys supporting others to build self-confidence by building a safe and accepting environment in which people can express themselves and feel a sense of belonging. Charlotte has played TTRPGs with friends for over a decade.  Being one of the newest members of the team, she is very excited to be able to utilise these platforms for therapy and education  at Knights of the Shed.

Charlotte spends much of her spare time drawing, writing, or reading books about history  (she has to resist the urge to ramble about historical facts to unsuspecting people nearby!). Charlotte has lived experience, with a diagnosis of ADHD, and she empathises that it can be difficult to inhibit sometimes. Charlotte’s goal for the future is to help guide neurodivergent youth toward their creative potential, and to continue to learn alongside them.
